1. What a Pool is

A Pool groups people with the same kind of claim against the same party (for example, the same building, product, employer or breached company). Each member keeps their own claim and decides for themselves whether to hire the Pool's firm. A Pool is not a lawsuit, a class action or a legal entity, and Advicey does not represent the group. Advicey decides whether a Pool forms using published, mechanical rules (same grouping details, at least 5 members).

2. Stages

Gathering, then review, then bidding (7 days), then voting (72 hours), then firm chosen, then closed.

3. Choosing the firm

Licensed firms pay Advicey to place a sealed bid for the Pool. Members never see bid amounts and never pay Advicey anything. Members see every bid card in paid-placement order and vote. Most votes wins; a tie goes to the higher bid. Advicey never overrides a vote. A member who does not want the chosen firm may leave the Pool during the vote or within 72 hours after it.

4. Bounty

Each member's bounty follows the Bounty Program Terms at the tier locked when they joined (1–24 members: $50; 25–99 members: $35; 100 or more members: $25).

5. Sponsored Pools

When Advicey sponsors a Pool for a social cause, Advicey pays the organizing costs. Advicey does not fund or direct the lawsuit and does not contact individuals; people find sponsored Pools through our public pages and member-shared links.

6. What Advicey never does

  • Never decides or influences settlement.
  • Never asks for privileged information or your case file.
  • Never contacts the other side or its insurer to collect.

7. Disputes

The arbitration agreement in Section 18 of the Terms of Service applies to disputes about this program.
