Bounty Program Terms
Bounty Program Terms for Advicey.com (version 2.3, October 2026). Advicey pays the bounty from its own funds. No lawyer pays you, and the amount never depends on any bid.
Who pays
Advicey pays the bounty from its own funds. No lawyer pays you, and the amount never depends on any bid.
Amount
Single cases: $50. Pools: the amount for your member number when you join (1–24 members: $50; 25–99 members: $35; 100 or more members: $25). Your amount is locked when you post or join.
When you earn it
- You pick a firm within the pick window.
- You sign a retainer with that firm within 30 days of picking it and upload it. There's no rush: take the time you need, talk to more than one firm if you like, or hire no one.
- The firm confirms the retainer.
- Our team checks it (usually within 72 hours) and pays it to your Stripe payout account.
Limits
Up to 3 bounties per verified person in any 12 months. One bounty per matter. No bounty if you were already represented, posted someone else's matter without authority, or gave false information.
Same for everyone
The bounty is the same whichever firm you pick, and the same whether or not you join a Pool. You never have to hire anyone to use Advicey.
Where it's offered
The bounty is offered only in states where Advicey turns it on. Your case page and the review step before you post show whether your state qualifies. Where it isn't offered, everything else works the same.
Reversal
If we find fraud within 30 days of payment, we may reverse the bounty and close the account.
Taxes
Bounties may be taxable income to you. Keep your own records. We send tax forms when the law requires.
Changes
We may end or change the program for future posts. Changes never reduce a bounty already locked.
